Government Taxes

The following government-mandated taxes are included in your total fare and are paid to the respective government agencies.

Federal Excise Tax: 7.5% of the base fare for domestic U.S. flights, as mandated by the U.S. government.
Passenger Facility Charge (PFC): Up to $4.50 per enplanement (up to $18 round trip), collected by airports to fund capital improvements.
September 11th Security Fee: $5.60 per one-way trip for flights originating in the United States.
Flight Segment Tax: $4.80 per domestic flight segment (each takeoff and landing counts as one segment).
International Departure/Arrival Tax: Varies by country. Typically $18.90–$19.70 for international flights departing the U.S.
U.S. Customs Fee: $6.91 per arrival for international flights arriving in the United States.
U.S. Immigration Fee (APHIS): $7.00 per arrival for flights arriving from international destinations.
